morning at 9 o'clock after a short
illness early Monday morning,
Mr. Alger suffered a stroke of
paralysis and gradually grew worse
until death claimed him. He was
59 years old. Deceased had been
employed by the Erie railroad for
45 years. He had resided in Bradford
for the past 40 years during
which time he won the high
esteem of all with whom he came
in contact. He attended the First
Presbyterian church, was a member
of Masonic lodge and the B. of
L. E. He leaves his wife; three
daughters, Bernice, Doris and
Dorothy Alger; one son, Allan
Alger of Bradford, and three
brothers, Bert Alger of Hornell;
Elmer of Canisteo and John of
Pochester.
