DEATH OF MRS. CHARLES J. BEEDY
Clara S. Judkins was born in Phillips, Maine in 1932, was married April 25 to Charles J. Beedy at Manchester, N. H. And came to Minneapolis where they spent 14 years then removed to Forest City where they remained 15 years. When they came to Monticello which has been their home for the past 18 years. Mrs. Beedy was converted when 16 years of age and joined the Baptist church and has been all these years a consistent christen, a devout believer in the doctrines held by her church. After a life of three score and en years of almost undisturbed good health, about a year ago she began to decline and though mostly without pain, she moved along for months with lessening strength and quietly passed from earth June 9. As she saw the approach of death she looked with great comfort at the fact that she had given her heart to one able to keep in perfect peace that which she has committed unto him. She lived well and her example has done much for others. A large sympathy is awakened for her husband in his loneliness.
We've more that calls and more to meet
And more that we'll enjoy
Since she now sits at Jesus feet
And songs of praise her lips employ.
