Hettie Josephine (Brown) Marti was born to her loving parents Charles Westley and Ida May (Godwin) Brown on Sunday December 1, 1878 at Porter Township, Richard County Nebraska. My research found no information on Hettie's childhood or schooling. Hattie was united in marriage to David Marti in the year of 1899 at Hasting, Adams County, they were blessed with two sons over the years of their marriage. Hattie and David first lived in the Hasting area, in 1907 they moved and lived in Omaha for a few years. Next Hattie's family moved back to Hasting and in 1924 they moved to Lincoln where they lived until their retirement. My research found no information on Hattie's adult occupation. Hattie sadly passed away at Lincoln, Lancaster County Nebraska in the month of March of 1976, she was ninety seven years of age. My research found no information on Hettie's funeral service. Hattie was interred in the Lincoln Memorial Park of Lincoln. Hattie's information was provided from researching many resources and my memory. This biography was created as an honor to Hattie by Loren R. I believe all lives matter, even the lives of those who have passed. Many details are still missing from her life, if you have any more details I will be happy to edit the additional information into this biography. Please send your info to me at my email address [email protected]
