EDWARD MCCOY

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham for Edward McCoy, a retired self-employed logger who died Sunday in a local hospital. He was 77.

Mr. McCoy, an Oregon City resident, was born in Denver and moved as a child to Wisconsin. He moved to John Day in his early 20s and to Portland in 1939. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Oralee; a stepson, Robert E. Taylor of Eagle Creek; a step-daughter, Ruth L. Hannigan of Sunnyvale, Calif.; a brother, Frank Kula of Fort Dick, Calif; three sisters, Geneviene Anderson, Cecile Mietus and Mary Simac, all of Eagle River, Wis.; six grandchildren; and two great-granchildren.

Interment will be in Damascus Cemetery.
