Services for Betty Adams Crain, 64, a lifelong resident of Houston who was active in gardening circles, were on Friday, February 28, 1986, at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church.

She died Wednesday in a local hospital after a short illness. Born in Houston, she was the daughter of the late Leopold Sheridan Adams and Marjorie Lappine Adams.

She was a past president of the River Oaks Garden Club and of the Assembly. At the time of her death she was president of the Sustaining Membership of the Junior League of Houston.

She was a lifelong member of St. Anne's Church.

She leaves her husband, Dr. Edward Lillo Crain; four daughters, Marjorie (Mrs. Sandy) Parkerson, Joan (Mrs. Joe) Nelson, Liza (Mrs. Fred) Allred and Annie Vive Crain, and two sons, Danny and Gene Crain, all of Houston.

Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery under direction of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons.
