"Ruth V. Allen, 92, formerly of Hillsboro IN, died 1:28 am Monday June 6, 2011 at Franklin United Methodist Community in Franklin, Indiana. She was born December 9, 1918 in Gowrie, Iowa the daughter of Elmer and Emma (Thulin) Danielson.
Ruth graduated from Hillsboro High School and had resided in Hillsboro for most of her life. She and her sister had also operated the Snyder Beauty Shop in Hillsboro for many years. Surviving family include a daughter, Lesta (Dan) Taylor; two grandchildren, Jeff Taylor and Stephanie Taylor; all of Greenwood, IN.
Internment and graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Friday June 10, 2011 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro, Indiana. Arrangements entrusted to Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg."
