Mrs. C. H. Arends Dies. Mrs. Anna Hermina Arends, wife of Charles H. Arends, died last night at 10:3O o'clock at the residence, 1015 State street, following a brief illness caused by pneumonia. Her maiden name was Anna Hermina Bruns, and she was born in Pekin October 29, 1856. Her marriage was with Charles H. Arends in this city March 4, 1884. The husband, one daughter, Mrs. Anna H. Hodge, and one son, Henry F. Arends; two sisters, Mrs. Martin Meinen and Mrs. Albert B. Jurgens, all of Pekin, survive her.

The funeral will be conducted Sunday afternoon.
