Blacksburg, SC - - Margaret Neely Bell, 88, formerly of Old Chester Road, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Peachtree Centre. Born in Spartanburg, she was the wife of the late Warren Bell and daughter of the late John Neely and Mary Isabella Turner Neely. Mrs. Bell retired from textiles and was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Whitaker Baptist Church. Surviving is a daughter, Peggy Medley and husband, Barry of Gaffney; four grandchildren, David Medley and wife, Jordan of Columbia, Richard Medley and wife, Teri of Gaffney, Erin Bell and fiancé, Jonathan Hillyard of Georgia and Kaitlin Parks of Gaffney; two great-grandchildren, Luke Medley and Marina Parks; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Gardner Bell of Gaffney. She was preceded in death by a son, Darvin Bell, Jr., four brothers, Carl Neely, George Neely, John Neely and William Neely and two sisters, Mae Brannon and Marie Stephenson.
Interment November 5, 2011Frederick Memorial Gardens. Barry & Peggy Medley, 230 Worths Trail, Gaffney.
