Death Claims Ben ANDERSON
Death came to Ben F. ANDERSON Wednesday, January 27, at Pawhuska, Okla. A Navy veteran of WWI, he was born at Rock Springs, Texas, on January 9, 1901. He was a charter member of Legion Post at Alpine, Texas, and a member of Masonic Lodge No. 988 at Sanderson, Texas.
Services are to be next Monday, February 1, 2"30 p.m., from the First Baptist Church, Rev. Lewis M. HANCOCK preaching the sermon.
Burial will be made in the Shattuck Cemetery, with both Masonic and Legion graveside services.
His wife is a daughter of Mrs. George W. HUNTER of Shattuck. Two daughters survive are Mrs. Barbara HOPE and Mrs. Arvis Joan BOWEN, both of San Antonio, Texas.
