Finial Rites Set For Mrs. Ahrens
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m.from the Seydler Funeral home for Mrs. Minnie G. Ahrens, resident of the Five Mile community, who died at the Holmes Memorial hospital at 11 p.m. Monday.
The Rev. William Loeske, pastor of the First Evangelical Lutheran church, will conduct the last rites with burial to follow in the City cemetery.
Mrs. Ahrens was born on November 18, 1889, at Cheapside, to Carl and Lydia Pagel Sauer, native Texans. She was married on July 29, 1908, to Otto G. Ahrens.
Survivors include one son, Otis of San Antonio; three daughters, Miss Ann Ahrens, San Antonio, Mrs. A. F. (Dolores) Koehler, Gonzales; and Mrs. A. M. (Diane) Mays of Atlanta, Texas.
Also surviving are three grandchildren, and four brothers, William and Oscar of Five Mile; August of Gonzales, and Albert of San Antonio.
