Ms. Patricia Amerson was born on February 2, 1962 in Porterville, Mississippi, the daughter of Wiley and Mary Amerson. Patricia was a faithful member of Foss Avenue Baptist Church. She graduated from Flint Central High School "Class of 1980" and attended Ross Medical School, receiving a Certificate as a Dental Assistant and Detroit College of Business. Patricia worked at Hurley Mental Health, Flint Job Corps and the Flint Board of Education. She loved shopping with her mother, listening to music and reading. Patricia also enjoyed spending time with her niece and nephews. She was a very lonving and warm person, who was always willing to give her last. Patricia loved her family and friends very much.

Ms. Patricia Amerson leaves to cherish her precious memories: devoted parents, Wiley and Mary Amerson; sister, Delois Amerson; brother, Ernest Ray Amerson; niece, Maraijah Amerson; nephews, Jeffery Amerson, Roderick Green II, and Raymond White Jr.; 6 uncles; 7 aunts; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends; Lisa Johnson of Flint, Jackie Cayton and Sheila Malone both of Tennessee.

Ms. Amerson was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jack and Pearl Amerson, Verda and O.D. Blanks; uncles and aunts.

The family would like to express special thanks to Pastor Reginald (Deloris) Flynn and the Foss Ave Baptist Church Family; Dr. Danish, Dr. Musson and Dr. Mikhail of Hurley Medical Center and the entire 9th floor East Nursing Staff; McLaren Hospice Staff; and her home care nurse, Nancy Inman.
