Martha Ann Moore Amos was born December 1, 1941 in Start and passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010 in Farmerville, LA after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Amos was a member of Siloam Spring Baptist Church in Weston, LA. Martha was a retired beautician, she loved ceramics, knitting, flowers, fishing, and sewing; her favorite thing was NASCAR. She was preceded in death by parents, Horce and Roberta Moore, son, Walter Chriceol; special friends, Laura Buttman and James Amos.
Survivors include her daughters, Sherri Griffith and husband, Michael of Elm Grove, LA and Michelle Skains and husband, Rusty of Farmerville, LA; grandchildren, Craig Allen of Shreveport, Kristina Luck of Shreveport, Michael Allen of Bossier City, LA, and Billy Skains of Farmerville, LA; great grandchildren, Raven Luck and Alexandra Luck of Shreveport; sisters, Mary Russell of Start, Barbara McCormick of Start, Gloria Stanley of Start, Irene Jones of Rayville; brothers, George Moore of Monroe, Carl Moore of Start, and Dennis Moore of Start; stepchildren, Karen Daniel and husband, John of MS, Jim Amos and wife, Angel of Houston, TX, and Robert Amos of Houston, TX; step grandchildren, Sara and J.D.
