Sirilda (also spelled Sarilda and Serilda) is a daughter of John Franklin Wallace born in Knox County, Missouri and Mary Elizabeth (Preisch) Price born in Indiana. She is the youngest of eight children.

Sarilda Wallace is listed in the 1870 Ozark Township, Lawrence County, Missouri Census with the Philip Foust family. She is age 13, born in Indiana and keeping house. She had not attended school that year and is listed as unable to read or write.

In the 1940 Dade County, MO Census Siraldia Jones, 83, widowed, is head of household, with her daughter Vea, 47, and daughter Libby Vandergrift, 44, and family living with her. Libby's family includes husband Clyde, 44; Madaline, 20; Curtis, 15; and Nina Vea, 9. Clyde's occupation is farming.

The informant on Sirilda's death certificate is daughter Libbie Vandergrift.

Sirilda has a sister Mary "Elvira" (1854-1924) who married Thomas J Jones (1851-1934)buried at Liberty Cemetery.
