Cassi was one of the most fun loving people I have ever known. She definitely got that from her parents! She was always a blast to be with. She loved going out and dancing the night away with her friends. But she also loved sitting around the house playing wii or playing board games with her friends and family on our "game nights." She also loved going to Cedar Point Amusement Park in the summers and in the early fall would go to the Renaissance Fair every weekend when possible.
In 2009 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After surgeries and chemo treatments she was declared cancer free. A year later the breast cancer returned and quickly spread to her lungs. She still hung in there having treatment after treatment and still had her great sense of humor and was enjoying life as much as she could. Unfortunately in July we learned that the cancer had spread to her brain. She still didn't give up the fight.
This morning at 2 am, Cassi lost the battle that she had been fighting so hard to win.
