STAFFORD -- Lena A. Blakeslee, 101, died Sept. 12, 2004, at Stafford District Hospital. She was born Nov. 1, 1902, at Great Bend. A Great Bend resident for most of her life, moving to Stafford in 1999, she was a homemaker.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Minnis Chapel, Stafford. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Great Bend Cemetery.
Survivors include: three sons, Charles, St. John, George, Great Bend, and Victor, Stafford; two daughters, Juanita Fischer, Stafford, and Helen Boyd, Topeka; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to Stafford United Methodist Church or to First Congregational Church of Christ, both in care of the chapel.
