Ruth was the daughter of Thomas and Margaret A. Wilson Hall and wife of Elmer Elard Cooley.

Ruth is survived by her daughter Geralyn Reitmeyer and son-in-law James, her son Thomas Cooley and daughter-in-law Carolyn, her daughter Peggy King and her son-in-law Charles, and her son Bob Cooley. In addition, Elmer & Ruth Cooley leave a legacy of eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grandson, as well numerous extended family and friends.
