Glen (Spurlock) Barton, 65, died Friday, February 6, 1987 at the home of his nephew, Ronnie Barton after a brief illness.

A lifelong resident of Hawkins County, he was a retired farmer.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Carl (Grace) Bruner, Mrs. Grady (Arlean) Ford, and Mrs. Hanes (Juanita) Cooper, all of Surgoinsvillel; two brothers, Robert Barton, Church Hill and Clyde Barton, Surgoinsville.

Services were conducted Sunday, February 8, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Herman Christian officiating.

Burial was in Fudges Chapel Cemetery.
