Mrs. Elizabeth "Betie" Purtell Hill, age 84, a resident of Irving, Texas, died Monday, October 10, 2011 in the Baylor Medical Center in Irving.
She was born May 13, 1927 in Duncan Oklahoma. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her parents, Merry Kyle and Viva Gardner Purtell; and her husband, Frank "Mack" Hill.
She is survived by three sons, Frank "Skip" Hill, Jr. of Old Fort, North Carolina, Jim Hill of Edmond, Oklahoma and Richard Hill of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Lane Sykes of Charlotte, North Carolina; one sister, Pat Mathis of Morton Grove, Illinois; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside Funeral Services for Mrs. Hill will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2011 in the Falls Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
