Julia Artley was born in PA and came West with her husband Ellis Artley. They were the parents of Benjamin Frederick, Asher, Ann Elizabeth, George & Matte. In 1860 they were caring for Mary Ohls - by 1870 they had taken-in her brother - Charles D Ohls to raise after the death of his mother Mary. They would remain close for the rest of his life. Father William H Ohls and his second wife would move West.
