Dallas M. (Winslow) Forcier, 90, died peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 4, at the Skilled Care Center of Wingate at Silver Lake. Dallas, the wife of the late Louis H. Forcier, grew up in Plymouth and was a longtime resident of East Bridgewater until moving to Kingston in 2007. Dallas started working for the East Bridgewater Tax Collectors office in 1954 and was sworn in as Collector of Taxes in 1971; she retired Sept. 16, 1986. In her younger years, she loved dancing, listening to her husband play the drums in the Ted Valley Quartet, traveling and crochet. Dallas leaves behind many cousins and friends including the wonderful staff of Wingate at Silver Lake in Kingston. Funeral from the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater, Saturday, Oct. 8, at 9 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Johns Church, East Bridgewater, at 10 a.m. followed by a burial at Central Cemetery.
