Adolfo T. Garcia born on September 27, 1928 in Sinton, TX went to be with the Lord on October 2, 2011 at the age of 83.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Sara P. Garcia; brothers Gregorio, Antonio, Vicente, Henry; sisters Concepcion and Trinidad. Mr. Garcia is survived by his children Olivia Lopez (Robert); Janie Lozano, Michael Garcia, Teresa Maldonado (Gerard); 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and sister Janie Garcia. Visitation will begin Tuesday, October 4, 2011, 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home, Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church with interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2. Mr. Garcia worked at Swift Packing Company for over 35 years. The family would like to express their gratitude to all of the doctors and nurses that took special care of our father. We would also like to give special thanks to his provider and dear friend Sarah Medina.
