He worked for 29 years as a supervisor for the Fisher Body division of GM in West Mifflin, retiring in 1982.
After graduating from Monongahela High School, Mr. Becker joined the U.S. Navy, serving in the Pacific as a coxswain during World War II.
His memberships included the First United Methodist Church in Monongahela and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1409 and Carroll Township American Legion Post 949.
He was the last immediate member of his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Becker; and three sisters, Betty Ranc, Jean Mackert and Sally Ann Wegman.
