Wife of Julius Ives Jr. Married Oct 8 1862. Julius's father in law (William H. Childs) forgave a $9,000 debt he owed to him in his will. Gertrude and sister Augusta received his home and all material items in his home. Gertrude to receive $5,000 from her father and several parcels of land. (Per her father's will which I have in posesion)

Son Howard Colby Iveswas a Unitarian Minister who became a Bahá'í after meeting ‘Abdu'l-Bahá in 1912. He left his position in the ministry to travel around the country with his wife Mabel, teaching others about their faith. He was a writer, poet, and prolific correspondent with ‘Abdu'l-Bahá and Shoghi Effendi.
