The passing of Mrs. R. F. Brooks has left a weight of sadness in the hearts of her friends in this and other towns of north Louisiana, where her name will always be a pleasant memory. As a resident of Ruston at intervals for a long number of years, Mrs. Brooks' beautiful devotion to her family and friends and to her church and its auxiliaries has left a halo around the beautiful service which was hers throughout her quiet though ever active life.
