Abilene-Gwen A. Botz,75, Abilene, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, at the Abilene Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 31, 1911, north of Abilene. She had spent all of her life farming in the Manchester community.
She was a member of the Manchester United Methodist Church.
Her husband, Harold, died in 1946.
Survivors include two sons, Cleason of Manchester, and Richard of Denver; four sisters, Gladys Thorp of Fort Scott, Evelyn Lanman of Lamar, Colo.,and Geraldine Mustard and Maxine Perkins both of Abilene, a brother, Jack Mustard of San Antonio, Texas, and a granddaughter.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Danner Funeral Home, Abilene, the Revs. Charles Cryderman and Troy Bowers officiating. Burial will be in the Prairiedale Cemetery, Talmage.
Memorials may be made to the church. Visitation will be at the funeral home.
