Mrs. Violet Wall Botkin, 69, wife of Herbert R. Botkin, 411 N. Madison St., died Friday at Woodland Nursing Home.
Born in Saratoga, Ind., Mrs. Botkin was the daughter of Palmer and Rosa (St. John) Wall. She lived 47 years in Muncie where she was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving besides her husband are two nephews, Charles and Herbert Amburn, of Parker.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Meeks Mortuary with Rev. A.W. McDavitt officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Maxville. Friends may call at the mortuary after 4 p.m. Saturday and before the services Sunday.
