Jack is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lily Angell; 3 children: Shane Q. Angell, Kenn Jack Angell and Kimie Angell Smith (John Clarence); one grandson, Owen Clarence Smith; sisters: Doris Angell, Dalene Swenson, Vala Angell, and Sandra Angell; brothers: Mark Angell and Dennis Angell; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in WWII and the Korean War. He retired from Wright Patterson AFB after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Baha'i Faith.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the family, from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Burial to follow at Dayton National Cemetery, with military honors by the United States Navy.
