Jack S. Angell, age 82 of Huber Heights, passed away September 13, 2011. He was born March 16, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah to the late Sanford and Hazel Angell. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother, G. Allen Angell.

Jack is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lily Angell; 3 children: Shane Q. Angell, Kenn Jack Angell and Kimie Angell Smith (John Clarence); one grandson, Owen Clarence Smith; sisters: Doris Angell, Dalene Swenson, Vala Angell, and Sandra Angell; brothers: Mark Angell and Dennis Angell; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in WWII and the Korean War. He retired from Wright Patterson AFB after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Baha'i Faith.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the family, from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Burial to follow at Dayton National Cemetery, with military honors by the United States Navy.
