Word has been received here that Mrs. George Braun, 66 years old, widely known in this county, passed away last Thursday in Santa Ana, Calif., and services and interment took place there Saturday.
Mrs. Braun was Clara Reimold of Freedom Township before her marriage. Mr. and Mrs. Braun lived just east of Saline on a farm until moving to California 18 yars ago.
Deceased is survived by her husband; four step-children, Edwin Braun and Mrs. Luella Waltz of Ann Arbor, Fred Braun of Saline and Mrs. Clarence Gilman of Tecumseh; two brothers, Lewis, of Freedom township and Ernest, of S. State road, and a sister, Tillie Reimold. Another sister, Mrs. Jacob Stierle, of Freedom township, died in September.
