Emogene Allen, 76, died Monday, Jan. 4, 2010, at Germantown Methodist Hospital in Germantown, Tenn. She was born Nov. 18, 1933, in Marshall County. She was a Baptist and a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. She was an employee of Wurlitzer Co. Manufacturing.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Clear Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Jim Polk and Bro. Jimmy Curl officiating. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include three sons, Michael Allen, Bud Allen and Perry Allen, all of Lamar; four daughters, Joyce Bingham of Lamar, Linda Cox of Hickory Flat, Phillis Sisulak of Huntsville, Ala., and Carol Allen of Lamar; one brother, Pete Skelton of Holly Springs; two sisters, Louise Skelton of Holly Springs and Mary Clark of New Albany; 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Allen; her parents, Willie Aubrey Skelton and Gertha Fuller Skelton; and a sister, Iva Watkins.
