First born son of the eight children of Eugene Henry Lewis and Ellen Ozell Latham Lewis. Married Patricia Modiene Price December 27, 1956. Father of Patricia Louise Lewis Barker, Karl Lynn Lewis, and Carol Beth Lewis Sellars. Grandfather of Sarah Elizabeth Barker. He was a good Christian man and lived by the "don't let the right hand know what the left hand is doing" creed in that he was always doing things for the church and wouldn't accept any recognition for it. His passions were photography and traveling so we have quite a few slides! Daddy always had a habit of being "late" to places and Mom would say "He'll be late to his own funeral." Daddy got the last laugh because as we pulled into the cemetery after the long drive from Arlington we noticed that the hearse hadn't arrived yet so he was indeed "late" for his own burial.
