Funeral services for Carol Ann Ewbank Breard, 52, of Sterlington, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Rev. David T. Richter and Msgr. Edmund Moore officiating. Interment will follow at St. Matthew Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Breard died Sunday, September 4, 2011. She was a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, a graduate of St. Frederick High School and NLU. Mrs. Breard loved raising her sons, horticulture, walking Black Bayou Refuge, the beach and traveling. She participated in 5K charity walks. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and niece.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest R. Breard; two sons, Ricker and Garrett Breard; parents, Ed and Nancy Ewbank of Monroe; sisters, Linda Ewbank Antley and husband Steve, and Judy Ewbank Paris and husband Steve; brother, Greg Ewbank and wife Wendi; mother-in-law, Mrs. Lydell Breard; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Peggy and David Turner, Herbert and Janet Breard, Mike and Colette Breard, Laura and Bob Willsher, and Morgan and Denise Breard; numerous aunts and uncles, and 17 nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Herbert Breard, Mike Breard, Morgan Breard, Kevin Hopper, Warren Vaughan, and Lawrence Vaughan.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Memorials may be made to Race for the Cure or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
