Sanford Noble Albin was oldest child of Robert and Nancy Lawrence Albin. He was self-taught, read extensively and was much admired by business and served as executor of many wills. Though he did not believe in insurance on buildings, he did vast research for better farming. He married Nora Ella Turbeyville on 12 March 1889. Five children were born to the couple. Daughter Zuba married Orris Clark. Daughter Maud married Robert Boyer. Daughter Lela married Ray Allen. Son Emerson married Ethyl Grubbs and son Leonard married Grace Harrington. All lived in the Newman area.
