Services for Mr.James Hall Miller Jr. 26 of Vidalia, whom died March 15 in St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah, were held March 19 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. The Rev. Bobby Colter and the Rev.Bruce Tanner officiated with burial in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Miller was a native of Tarpon Springs, Fla., and resided in Vidalia the last four years. He was a taxi driver employed with City Taxi of Vidalia. Survivors include his daughter Tiffany Miller of Lumber City. His mother and step-father Ethel and Mark Sheppard of Lumber City; father and step-mother James Hall Miller Sr. and Edna Miller of Baileyton,Ala.;three sisters, Stepnie Harris of Heartful,Ala., Bonnie McPhearson of Phoenix,Ariz., and Candace Lynch of Hanceville,Ala.;three brothers, Gaylan Miller of Baileyton, Ala., Gary Miller of Lumber City, and David Winchester of Alma; four step-brothers, tommy Shickles and Darrell Fuqua, both of Baileyton,Ala., Mark Sheppard Jr. of Lumber City, and Tim Shickles of Decatur; one step-sister, Debbie Eddieman of Cullman,Ala. and his girlfriend Cheryl Landon.

Active pallbearers were Mike Rollerson, Bill Anderson, Benny Hutto, Timmy Dawson, Dewayne Smith and Larry Hand. Honorary pallbearers were Curtis Barnard,Ricky Cleland, Charles Barnard, Kenny Herrington, Doug Braswell and William Marcum. Music was rendered by Ruth Colter.
