Benjamin T. Hyser, 83, of Seven Valleys R D 1, died at 11:07 p. m. Thursday at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Adelaide E. ( Ibex ) Hyser and the late Martha ( Dietz ) Hyser. Mr. Hyser was born July 13, 1913 in Adams County. He was the son of the late Edward T. and Virgie T. ( Carman ) Hyser. He was a lifelong farmer. He was a former employee of the former Borg Warner, Amp, and Campbell Chain Co. He was a member of St. Jacob's Evangelical Lutheran Church, York New Salem Fire Company, North Codorus Fire Company, Seven Valleys Fire Company, and the Tri-Community Ambulance Club. Mr. Hyser is survived by three sons, Benjamin L. Hyser of York, and Bradley T. Hyser and Benjamin T. Hyser, Jr. of Spring Grove; six daughters, Betty L. Wentz of York, Brenda L. Wildasin of Glen Rock, Bonnie L. Stauffer and Beverly L. Hagan, both of Spring Grove, and Barbara L. Hyser and Beth L. Hyser both of Seven Valleys; 26 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and three sisters, Madella Detter of Wellsville, Leona Kottmyer of York and Anna Weire of Mount Wolf.
