Arlene A. (Dandar) Brown, 55, of Perrysburg, Ohio, died Wednesday, August 24, 2005, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 6, 1950, to Andrew and Lola (Jacobs) Dandar and later married William M. Brown in Toledo on December 30, 1970. A 1968 graduate of Cardinal Stritch High School, Arlene worked nearly 15 years as a secretary with Zachman Realty. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and in her spare time she enjoyed shopping, dining out, the outdoors as well as her pets. Her greatest enjoyment was in spending time with her family and friends. Arlene was best known for her great sense of humor, her infectious laughter and caring nature. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, William M. Brown; children, Ryan M. Brown and Kelly A. Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Lola as well as her brother, Andrew Dandar Jr.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 3-9 p.m. in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) where funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 29, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Thomas J. Leyland, officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
