Clara E. Allison, 92, formerly of Cedar Rapids and Springville, died Monday at Wth-Wick Retirement Community in Cedar Rapids, after a short illness. She had been a resident of the retirement community for the past eight years.

Services were held today at the Murdoch Chapel in Marion, with burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City.

Mrs. Allison was born Sept. 18, 1894, in Melbournetown, Tenn., daughter of John and Laura McMackin Mabe. She married the Rev. Omer L. Allison Sept. 18, 1918. He died June 17, 1979.

She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids.

She is survived by three sons, Vincent of Milwaukee, Melvin of Cedar Rapids and Harold of Springville; four daughters, Elaine Dahl of Des Plaines, Ill., Anna Landstrom of La Grange, Ill., Frances Davies of Panora and Doris Reinhardt of Dolliver; one sister, Martha Patterson of Iowa City; 24 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. One daughter, five brothers and two sisters died earlier.
