A TRIBUTE TO MY BELOVED MOTHER
~~~VIRGINIA VEGA NATAL~~~
By: LUIS ANGEL OSORIO VEGA
You left my side.....
very silent was your departure.
My heart is bleeding with grief,
for you're suddenly gone.....
You were, indeed, a special mother,
a loving wife to your husband, my dad,
an excellent sister, and couldn't have
been a better cousin. A great neighbor
and a very loyal and loving friend.
You dedicated your life to helping those
in need. You were an active member of our
Church, and taught catechism, among other
things. You were at your happiest teaching
children how to love God and the way to
him. You strengtened their faith. You taught
them how to be people of faith, as you were.
For that, dear mother, I know you are in
heaven. You loved life and had a warrior's
spirit, for you fought hard for your precious
live. But in the end, God just couldn't wait
to have you by his side. Your work was done!!
You've now become an angel, who watches over all
of us. Awaiting for our time to be together, once
again in eternity...
However, that seems so far away mom.
I wish I could hug you, right this moment.
I look for you, I call out to you, but I just
cannot find you.
Please tell me...how can I possibly be consoled?
How could I alliviate this grief?
Your immeasurable love, my flaws always overlooked.
In your loving and motherly eyes, I was perfect.
Mother...there is only one, for a mother's love is
unconditional, and has no equal..
I know you're in heaven, next to God you must be.
I will patiently await for the day we finally meet again.
We will then be together forever. Nothing or no one will
separate us ever again.
I will not be afraid when my time comes.
For your caring and loving presence will comfort me, for
I know you'll be there to greet me in heaven.
I will make an effort to earn my place in heaven, to
make sure I don't lose you again.
For now, dear Mother, please guide my footsteps through life.
May your light illuminate my path, show me the way!!!
I pray for your presence to be around me always,
until my destiny is fulfilled, until the end of
my days.
May God bless you Virginia Vega Natal, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt,Cousin, and friend to many.
You will be forever loved, cherished, sorely missed, and lovingly remembered.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury,pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen
