Brenda (Bennie) as her brother and sisters lovingly called her was the last of 6 children born to Raymond and Kathleen Brand. Brenda was born and raised most of her life in Stockton. She met and fell in love with Jerry Say.
Eventhough Brenda was young, Both parents were convienced that the couple could make it if they married.
They married and because her husband was in the Air Force recieved housing at Travis Air Force Base.
Brenda and Jerry were blessed with one child (Jerry Wayne Jr.) How Brenda loved her baby...She made a wonderful mother.
One night she and her girlfriend was on their way back home to Fairfield when a drunk driver hit them head on killing Brenda instantly. In a twinkle of an eye, a young life of only 23 years left us that night. Her precious son was spared, but lost a true love of a mother. You would have been 46 this year dear sister...We miss you! I still cry inside each time I hear your favoriate song ..."OPEN ARMS" by Journey.
