Mr. Milie served with HQ Company 19th Infantry Regiment in 1945-46 in WWII and Japan.
He saw duty in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
A long-time Association member, Bob was active in the field of athletics at Duquesne University and Carnegie Mellon University; was an assistant trainer with the Pittsburgh Steelers while they were winning four Super Bowls; and a teller at The Meadows Racetrack in Washington County.
He is survived by his wife Maureen Milie, 291 Dixon Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15216-1207.
William Slater Funeral Home in Scott. Mass will be celebrated in St. Bernard Church in Mt. Lebanon.
Private burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Peters.
