She lived in West Roxbury before moving to Needham many years ago.
Mrs. Creeden graduated from Carney Hospital School of Nursing.
She worked as a school nurse for Catholic Memorial High School in West Roxbury. She was an active parishioner of St. Bartholomew Church in Needham.
Wife of the late Dr. Francis V. Creeden, Mrs. Creeden is survived by a daughter, Mary C. Risio of Needham; three sons, Francis V. Jr. of Shawnee, Kan., John E. of Atkinson, N.H., and Robert J. of Marlboro; a brother, James McAuliffe of Easton; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Bartholomew Church, Needham.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
