RUSSELL, Kan. - Alta Faye Blanke, 61, died Saturday, June 17 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kan.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pohlman's Memorial Chapel in Russell, Kan with Rev. James Alexander. Burial will be in Russell City Cemetery.

Mrs. Blanke was born on June 29, 1938, in Athens, Ark. She lived her early life in Arkansas and Texas. She married Kenneth Blanke on March 17, 1967, in Borger. They moved to Great Bend, Kan. and then to Russell, Kan. in 1968. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Chapel Assembly of God Church in Russell, Kan.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Blanke; three sons, Jerry Mayberry of Borger, Ricky Mayberry of Russell, Kan. and Ronny Mayberry of Natoma, Kan.; one daughter, Lynn Smith of Hoisington, Kan.; two step-sons, Eugene Blanke of Claremore, Okla., David Blanke of Florissant, Mo.; two step-daughters, Heidi Blanke of St. Louis, Mo., and Star Blanke of Wichita, Kan.; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Chapel Assembly of God Church or Shrine Hospitals in care of the mortuary.
