Anna Annabelle Gonzales Age 59, of Santa Fe NM., passed away July 24, 2011 after a long time battle with diabetes. She was born on September 27, 1951 in Santa Fe NM., and was married to Gus Gonzales on May 26, 1973. She was a loving housewife, mother, grandmother and also a volunteer catechism teacher. She will always be remembered for the wonderful cakes she made for so many of her family and friends. Anna was a wonderful lady with a great personality who would touch the hearts of all. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Estevan Montoya. She is survived by her husband, Gus Gonzales; daughter, Shawna Gonzales and husband Henry Casanova; In laws, Gustavo, Sr. and Maida Gonzales; Mother, Angie Montoya; grandchildren: Ashley Gonzales, Tamara Valencia, Sebastian Valencia; Brothers: Steve Montoya and wife Erlinda, Jessie Montoya, Gerald Montoya and wife Eleanor; brother in laws, Max Gonzales and wife Julie, Al Gonzales and Companion Rose, and James Gonzales; and Sister in law, Marliyn Hart and Husband Mike. Recitation of Rosary will be held on Monday, August 1st at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 2nd at 10 a.m. Both services to be held at Santa Maria de La Paz Catholic Church, on Richard's Avenue in Santa Fe.
