Bougie came into my life a few months after Angel had passed away. I think that was the longest period of time I have ever gone without having a dog.

I can't say I ever had a longing to own a Scottish Terrier I just knew I wanted a small dog so this time she could live in the house. We got Bougie from a local breeder and she was the runt of the litter. She was so tiny and cute. I remember taking her home and we went out to the back yard. She had never seen grass before and she wasn't sure it could be trusted! But she finally decided it was safe and walked on it. :)

Bougie kept me company for a good part of my life. I had few friends, didn't date, and was basically a hermit outside of my time at school or work. She went on all vacations with us which meant she'd been to Orlando probably 7 or 8 times and once all the way to Miami.

I loved getting her groomed and they way she would come home with little bows on her. She looked best in pink. :) As a matter of fact her collar was pink with rhinestones. She looked smashing!

She ended up dying from Kidney failure. She had been to the vet several times and had received fluids and medication intravenously. She passed away at home on a Sunday around 5 am in my room. I buried her by myself in the backyard.

Much loved and much missed.
