Evelyn, of Holt, MI. passed away in Holt at the age of 95.
She was born in Florida, and was adopted by Guy and Mildred Bateman (along with her sister Alice) in Michigan.

Mrs, Dolbee worked at Willow Run and made airplanes during WWII. After the war, she and her husbnad, Neal D. Dolbee, who preceded her in death in 1999, hopped a train for the west and were gone for 2 years. After returning to Michigan, she worked for Jon Anthony Florist and Keith Granger Estate.

Surviving are her son Charles (Kay) Dolbee of Mason; daughter Bille Gae Hill; 6 grandchildren, Scott (Pam) Dolbee, Brian Dolbee, Dana (James) Prater, Angie (Brent) Lambert, Steve (Lisa) Mead, JoLynne (Dave) Barber; numerous great grandchildrn; niece Dona (Warren) Haskert; and nephew Jerry Ely.

Graveside service was held on Wednesday October 3, 2007.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice in honor of Evelyn Dolbee.

Evelyn was first married to Neal Dolbee on 3-3-1933.
They divorced in 1940, and both Neal and Evelyn remarried. After both their spouses died, Evelyn and Neal remarried each other on 4-5-1990.
