Merle, the son of Arthur and Rosa Caroline Brack was born on July 29 1930, in Leesville. He passed away on Wednesday, July 20th at the Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville.
Merle was a carpenter by trade and a US Air Force veteran having served in the Korean Conflict and Japan. Merle loved fishing and hunting and sitting under the ol' pear tree visiting with his many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mickie; brother, Marvin Brack and sister, Bobbie Jo Brack.
He is survived by his son, Mike Brack of Leesville; daughter Jeannie Lou Brack of Cleveland, TX step daughters, Shirley Hunt of Louisville, MS and Peggy Irland of Cleveland, TX; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Services were under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
