Nellie Mae Calhoun, 89, of Fairdealing died Sunday, Nov. 10, at Clay Healthcare in Corning. Born in Dardanelle, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include two sons, Earnest J. Calhoun of Fairdealing and Billy Joe Calhoun of Marmaduke; one daughter, Sharon D. Bryant of Mulberry, Fla.; four sisters, Maudie Hayes, Syble Ingram and Betty Vinson, all of Corning, and Helen Curtis of Mission, Texas; one brother, William Fowler of Polk City, Fla; nine grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruf Calhoun; her parents, Andrew F. and Susie J. Bullington Fowler; one son; one daughter; and one sister.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ermert Funeral Home Chapel in Corning, with the Rev. David Richey officiating.

Burial will be in Bond Cemetery at Knobel.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
