She attended local schools and graduated from the University of Miami in 1941. She taught school in Miami and, during World War II, she was the boy's football coach at Kenlock Junior High in Miami. She served in ministry beside her husband in United Methodist churches across Florida, including Fort Pierce.
She was active in the United Methodist Women.
Survivors include her son, the Rev. Robert C. Boggs Jr. of Fort Pierce, 3 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Robert C. Boggs Sr., and daughter, Carole Boggs Smith.
SERVICES: A memorial will be at 10:30a July 19 at First United Methodist Church of Fort Pierce. Interment will be private in Lake Wales Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
