Andrew Darrell Firmage passed away peacefully at his home on July 10, 2011 at the age of ninety-four.

He was born March 2, 1917 to Andrew Adamson and Mary Cleo Firmage. He graduated from Logan High and later attended West Point and the U of U.

During World War II, he was employed as a defense contractor and later served as a flight instructor in the Army Air Corps. He established several businesses in real estate and construction in the Salt Lake City area.

He married Hilda Rickenbach in the Salt Lake temple on October 14, 1942. She preceded him in death. He married Lang Thi on December 23, 1999.

He is survived by his widow and children, Robert (Gertrud), Richard (Lee), Roderick (Claudia), Roger (Lani) Firmage, and Linda Doron. His eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren brought him great joy.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011 in the Nibley Park Ward Chapel, 2450 South 600 East, Salt Lake City, Utah, at 10:00 a.m. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the services at the church.

Interment will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
