She is survived by her husband, Dorsey Junior Bower; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmie Dorsey and Martha Bower; Paul Hayden and Brenda Bower, all of Riner; a daughter, Susan Elaine Bower, Blacksburg; a brother, Clarence Hayden Chafin, Christiansburg; one granddaughter, two grandsons, several nieces and nephews.
Burial in St. Matthew Church Cemetery.
