Where to begin?!?

Rose Kuti Comandella is actually buried under one of her married names which was Sights. She is in the Forest Lawn burial registery this way but her headstone leaves out two of her married names.

Her parents were Anton/Antone/Antal (Find A Grave# 27125397) and Elizabeth Borka/Borga Kuti (Find A Grave# 27125398) who had immigrated to the US from Hungary.

Rose was born August 24th, 1912 in Missouri.

Her siblings were Anton, Mary, Margaret, Joseph, Alex, Wilma, Madeline, and John.

Rose first married Charles Robert Comandella in Glenwood, Iowa on August 23rd, 1930.

Their children were Charles, Robert, Rose, and Jo Ann. Son Charles William is buried in the same lot as Rose and Charles Robert.

At some point Charles and Rose divorced and Rose married someone with the last name of Wise. I have yet to find his first name.

That marriage did not last long because she next married Wilford Woodrow Sights in Omaha in May of 1961. Marriage License: SIGHTS, Wilford Woodrow; 44; md. Rose WISE; 48; May 1961 B18145.

This was a very bad choice for poor Rose because Wilford Woodrow Sights had wives all over the west. I do not know if he divorced all of them properly but he died in 2002 in Oregon and his final acknowledged wife was Irene Elizabeth Woodard whom he married in 1966. I have counted at least 5 wives besides Rose but he came from Canada at some point so there might be some up there.

Charles must have loved Rose very much because she is buried next to him (and their son Charles William) and her other names are not acknowledged.

Rose Kuti Comandella Wise Sights died in Omaha on July 20th, 1994.
